Game reviews:
IGN April 10th 2009 : Gave the game an 8.8 overall. and said it was great.
They gave the presentation a 9 and said that the watercolor art style, is like nothing else they've never seen in gaming, and that it had a melancholy story along the way,.
8.5 Graphics:They said that this is proof that you didn't need high end 3D graphics, or a lot of artists to create haunting and unique visuals.
8 sound. they said that the audio was limited mainly for music, but the music was full of range and emotion
9 Game play: It's packed with difficult puzzles, but it makes all the more rewarding when you beat them.
6 replay value :Once you beat it there's not much reason to replaying, but you can talk to others about it.
Gamespot: Gave it a 9.5 calling it Superb, and saying it expertly designed puzzles that offer a challenge without frustration, the art was beautiful and subtle without being to distracting, The story was Mature and had a powerful ending, the score(music) complemented the mood of the game and that the pin-point controls allow you to focus on using your brain to solve the puzzles. The only down side that they said to it was that it cost more then your usual Xbox Live arcade game.
Of what I've seen from the game play I've watched is that it's a very visually impressive game that has a nice musical score, The puzzles are fun but difficult, It appealed to me though because I love puzzles and problem solving so if I was to play the game I would enjoy it. The animation of the character is nice and detailed with his hair coat and tie blowing back when he moves. The only down side that I see in the game is that there's not much replay value, you might go back to play it if you really enjoyed it or if you hadn't played in awhile and want that nostalgia feeling.
