Define brush technique

In this session we learned how to make brushes to use as stamps and make cool concept art. to do this we needed a picture which we pasted into Photoshop and the selected the area we wanted to use with the magic wand tool, after that go into edit and select define brush preset which should make a brush out of what you selected.
we had to make a post apocalyptic picture and a nature picture.

we used foreground, background and the middle section between the foreground and background. I adjusted the colors and moved the layers about so things would overlap like the clouds over the mountains.
