Title screen

In today's lesson we created the title screen for a game which had the measurements of 1920x1080 a standard screen size, and was using the rule of thirds.

we got asked to make 3 different title screens for our game.
The first title screen I made I used the map we use for the game and altered it a bit, I then added text to it using the font Matura MT Script Capitals.

For the the second title screen I grabbed the island from Unreal and added it to Photoshop, I then  grabbed the text from the previous title screen and made it into a sketching mask, and changing the color and position of the text.

I did the exact same thing as the previous title screen but with the map instead of the actual Island, and I didn't have to change the color so it was more visible.

I then decided to play about with the layer style with the second title screen. I then  used Bevel and emboss on the text, and made it so the style was an outer bevel and the techniques was chisel soft.

Rali and I sat down and decided which title screen we where going use for the game and decided on the third title screen I created would be the better one to use out of the title screens designed.
We decided on this one because of how the text was set up, and wasn't obstructing any of the important parts of the map that was shown.
